Life Under the Ottoman Empire

This is becoming a daily occurance as I am still stuck in reverse and standstill-plank. In other news, my belly is a fantastic dust broom and I can roll clear across a room. Watch out.

The Power of a Look

A look can say so much. Often the right look can speak volumes about what a person is feeling or thinking. This look says "I am about to tear your house up in a way that you never imagined and are totally unprepared for."

"My kid's plank pose is better than your kid's."

Some kids can crawl by the time they are 7 months old. Some can even walk I hear. Well, my plank pose is already better than my mom and dad's. My core strength is to be admired and my abs are like steel. Please ladies, one at a time.

7 Months old, yo!

I am seven months old today. Yes! To celebrate, I spent the previous week working up a fever of 103 and being generally disagreeable all so that I could present my mom and dad with a shiny First Tooth on my birthday. Ta-daa! I spent the morning lounging in my jammies before getting up to be The Cutest Thing Ever.

All My Ducks in a Row

I got to be to big form my little infant bath tub. So I had to make the rough transition from the cozy kitchen sink to this huge cold bath tub in the bathroom. Luckily, I had an army of ducks to accompany my move. The big one makes duck noises when you squeeze the bill, the little one squeaks when you squeeze it or chew on it, and I am loving bath time even more now as a result! Well, I would be if my mom would stop posting naked pictures of me; some privacy please, mom!

Mom

We had an amazing dinner at our friends Pat and Kim's place. Well, I had yams and zucchini puree, and they had a delicious beef tenderloin, cheeses, and a flourless cake for dessert. I can't wait to progress in my food consumption. Aside from being amazing cooks, they take great photos too. Mom is always behind the camera, so it was nice to finally get her in front of it for once. But nobody can hold a flame to my cuteness. Go on, gush.

All Business

When it comes to food, these days I'm all business. I have two meals a day now. In the morning I enjoy some oatmeal and pears, and in the evening, my executive chef prepares some combination of peas, carrots, and butternut squash. I think I am going to request zucchini next perhaps. Then filet mignon with a bearnaise sauce.
