First Gear!

It started with a few feet here and there, and while I am still a little wobbly, I am, in fact, crawling.

Grandma Candy and Papa Tony

Later on in the Weekend O' Grandparents (and The Gore), Grandma Candy and I finally got to nestle into a nice book. Her lap is the coziest, and I was happy to see that she was in good spirits even though she is vigilantly trying to kick cancer's ass. Get it, Grandma. Here is Papa Tony with his famous smoked tri-tip. Oh, I can't wait for proteins.

Meet The Gore

Finally, I reached the 18 lb. marker and my Uncle The Gore agreed to hold me. Timid, Gore? I'm not that scary, really. The Gore is a master fisherman and very talented artist who is firmly embedded in the gory artistic genre. You can find his latest and most amazing creation ever by CLICKING HERE.

Hanging with Grandpa Fred

This is Part One of a multi-part series about my recent trip down south to see my grandparents. The first stop was to see Grandpa Fred, where we hung out on the couch and watched some hockey. You know, 'cus I'm just one of the guys. Then I met Coltrane the Cat who TOTALLY BLEW MY MIND. You have GOT to see this cat. He's huge. Like, seriously huge. Like, bigger than me I think. We had a very fun night and I hear my mom got schooled at Beatles Trivia. Defeat never feels good with a hangover... Stay tuned for my next installment as we head down to Rancho.

My Duck Thieving Friend Chloe

Last night my mom and Chloe's mom though it would be fun to have her share my private bath time with me. Great idea. So instead of lounging out and catching up on the latest New Yorker, I had to be on guard. This little filly wanted my rubber ducky in a bad way. Do you see me giving her the Heisman pose block in the second picture? Even this major move would not deter her pursuit. Just when I thought we could share it, she made her move. And then I cried.

Lunch at the Mission With Grammy

One of the perks of living here in Santa Barbara, other than the ability to wear flip-flops 12 months out of the year or the corresponding insane cost of housing, is that I get to see my Grammy C on a regular basis. Yesterday we met in the Mission Rose Garden for a sandwich and some sun bathing.

Dangling the Carrot

Mom and Dad are encouraging me to crawl. I am nearly there. I can get up on all fours into a pike position, I can balance on three wheels, I can scoot backwards. But I still can't quite get the forward motion to happen. Mom keeps putting my toys just out of reach, dangling them out there in front of me to try to get me to move forward. Believe me lady, I'm working on it! And no baby-torture-toy-fake-out is going to get me there any faster. We also had a great time at the SB Farmers Market on Saturday where we bought all these delicious foods for me to gobble up. Yum-o!

Redeeming My Public Image

Because my mom shared a slightly embarrassing photo comparison of me and George McFly from Back to the Future with the Facebook community...
McFlys

I thought I would take this opportunity to share this video that shows how sweet and curious I am. Even if my hair has yet to prove itself.
