After my SB Xmas, we went to see my Grandpa Fred and the Feezell Family in Claremont. We had fun on Christmas Eve opening presents and exchanging gift cards. I also got to see my cousins, Mia, Sammy and that sass-pot down there, "baby Megan." If she is a baby, I'm not sure what that makes me. But she is sure cute!
Well, hello! This is a page devoted to me, Miles, the wee-est of we Feezell's. This is a place for all the ogling grandparents, friends and family to check-in and see what I have been up to as I grow, develop, and burn through diapers at a fierce pace. Mostly it's a place for my mom and dad to post pictures for those uninitiated in the world of Facebook (and those who are perhaps better off for it). So, bookmark this page and check in often.

The First of Many, Many Christmas' to Come
By my basic math, I have more grandparents than the average kid. I celebrated four Christmas' this year around central and southern California because everybody wants a visit with the Wee Fee. I'm a hot commodity among the Baby Boomer generation. The first Christmas I celebrated was at Grammy C and Grandpa Mike's house in SB. I got the most bitchin' stegosaurus lunch box. My dad is so jealous. I also finally snapped a photo with my Great Grandma Dede. We like to sing songs together and discuss the upcoming royal wedding and tennis.

I'm 5 months old today
Five months ago my parents stopped sleeping. But I am worth every waking minute of it. In my five months in this great world I have learned many things. My family is large, fun, and hard to keep track of. My mom and dad really love singing the "green speckled frog song." My dad is far better at getting me to laugh than my mom, who is mostly business. I like milk. I hate the octopus in my play gym. And there seems to be this strange worm that has it out for my toes. More on that soon. Happy birthday me. All 15 + lbs of me. Boo-yah!

Dead trees?
Adults have strange customs sometimes. Last week with my Grandma Christine and Grandpa Michael, we went to a place where people go to buy dead trees that they put inside their homes. I'm a little confused, I was under the impression that it is good to have living things - that's why we water the plants in the house, and why my mom feeds me. Living = good. But anyway, we got a dead tree, and we paid for it too. It's a wee tree. We brought it home and decorated with lights and ornaments to celebrate some thing that is yet to come; I'm told it's a big deal and that I need to be good in order to celebrate it. Good? I AM SO GOOD. I remind my mom of this fact every night at 10:30 pm, 3:00 am, 5:00 am and then I start to remind her all day at 6:30 am. I hope that's enough. Can't wait for what's to come! I wonder if it involves this miniature donkey?

Tutu's and Weave's? What's next?
This week I met my mom's, mom's, dad - my great grandpa Weaver (aka Alan Copeland). He made a trip up from Hollywood just to meet me. A groovey dude, for sure. You can also see him in his youth, as a "leading man" on the Bob Crosby Show HERE, at around 2:00 min.

I'm a Butterball, and that's a turkey
To celebrate Thanksgiving, we drove up to Nevada City to see my Nana and Grandpa Don. I also got to meet my Great-Tutu. You see, Tutu is the grandma of my uncle Jamie (stay with me, this gets tricky) and the step-grandma of my mom... anyway, they call her "Tutu" instead of "grandma," which therefore makes her my Great-Tutu! Which also might make her some sort of Mayan God, I dunno. But I got to meet her and spend some good lap-time trying to do crossword puzzles while my Grandpa Don smoked a turkey on the Webber - giddy up!

Bad Habits
Last week Care-giver, a dear friend of Food-giver, watched me while Food-giver had to go to work. Because she knew about my intense aversion to tummy-time, Care-giver shied away from making me practice in order to keep me in a good mood. Understood. However, yesterday my doctor said that we really need to step up our efforts. While I am perfectly fine with our new method to encourage tummy-time, my mom is very concerned about the long-term effects. Oh well, desperate times = desperate measures. I can't wait for Dancing With the Stars to come on! Jazz hands!

Happy Halloween!
I have a lot of updating to do. It's been too long. However, I had to be sure to wish you a Happy Halloween first. This is my first Halloween, and I am not so sure about this "holiday." From my understanding a "holiday" is a day spent celebrating some significant event - Christmas, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving... all celebrate some event. Aparently the "event" for Halloween is to dress me up as a banana and laugh at me. Rude. So as soon as my parents put me in this get-up, I played dead. Like a dressed up cat... comatose. That will teach them.

Road Trip - Santa Cruz, The Final Stop
Finally, we drove from Petaluma to Santa Cruz to visit my Uncle Dawson who is a Freshman at UCSC. It's all peaceful and hippie-like up there. IN FACT, when we walked in to see Dawson's room - what were his roommates doing? Not smoking pot. Not drinking beer. Not hooking-up with chicks. THEY WERE DEHYDRATING FOOD that they got from the cafeteria. Dehydrating food! Hippies... After that, we visited the bookstore because my parents are meganerds and my dad pined about how he wants to go back to college, AGAIN, the man loves school. Then on Saturday we drove home and I am so happy to be back!
