Dad of the Year

I have a lot to catch up on. Please forgive me for not blogging for a while, we have been on the road. Before we leaft for our trip, my dad came to play music for my class. Dad of the year!

Lazy Saturday at the Park

We met some friends at the park on Saturday for beers (them) and snacks (me). We had fun playing on the jungle gym, swinging, and watching the dogs and birds. I especially love climbing up the stairs on the jungle gym and sliding down the slide. In case you haven't noticed, I'm getting pretty big!

Horses!

My cousin Amber is in town! That's my grandma Megan's, sister's, daughter, yo. The good news is that she has a horse and she is in town to ride it in a SHOW! So mom and I went to the fair grounds to see her and all the Arabian horses and OH MY GOD THEY ARE AWESOME! I laughed so hard and I even touched her horse's nose! There are dogs and horses all around and it's like HEAVEN! The bad news is that she is going to OSU to be a Beaver in a few weeks. We wish her well anyway. But we also wish that her football team gets destroyed this year. Just sayin'...

Viva La Fiesta!

Growing up in Santa Barbara means that every year you spend about 5 days celebrating Old Spanish Days, or "Fiesta!" as we like to call it. This year, for my first Fiesta, my parents and I walked in the Children's Parade with other members of our PEP Group. We had a great time getting my stroller dolled-up and striding down State Street. It was really nice that all of these people came out just to see me. I made it through the whole parade - awake and clapping to my crowd of adorers. Some of my other buddies don't have the staying capacity, but I never leave my fans hanging. Also, from what I can understand, "Fiesta" is Santa Barbarian for massive hangover. Mamaaaa! Dadaaaa!

Presents!!

Wow - it's been a busy couple of weeks, I am sorry that I have not been able to blog much. A couple weeks ago, my parents threw me a party to celebrate my first birthday. It was fantastic! Lots of friends and family came to visit me and I partied so hard that I slept for 13 hours that night. I woke up half-naked surrounded by gifts. I hope every birthday is this much fun!
