Horses!

My cousin Amber is in town! That's my grandma Megan's, sister's, daughter, yo. The good news is that she has a horse and she is in town to ride it in a SHOW! So mom and I went to the fair grounds to see her and all the Arabian horses and OH MY GOD THEY ARE AWESOME! I laughed so hard and I even touched her horse's nose! There are dogs and horses all around and it's like HEAVEN! The bad news is that she is going to OSU to be a Beaver in a few weeks. We wish her well anyway. But we also wish that her football team gets destroyed this year. Just sayin'...

Viva La Fiesta!

Growing up in Santa Barbara means that every year you spend about 5 days celebrating Old Spanish Days, or "Fiesta!" as we like to call it. This year, for my first Fiesta, my parents and I walked in the Children's Parade with other members of our PEP Group. We had a great time getting my stroller dolled-up and striding down State Street. It was really nice that all of these people came out just to see me. I made it through the whole parade - awake and clapping to my crowd of adorers. Some of my other buddies don't have the staying capacity, but I never leave my fans hanging. Also, from what I can understand, "Fiesta" is Santa Barbarian for massive hangover. Mamaaaa! Dadaaaa!

Presents!!

Wow - it's been a busy couple of weeks, I am sorry that I have not been able to blog much. A couple weeks ago, my parents threw me a party to celebrate my first birthday. It was fantastic! Lots of friends and family came to visit me and I partied so hard that I slept for 13 hours that night. I woke up half-naked surrounded by gifts. I hope every birthday is this much fun!

MY FIRST BIRTHDAY!

Good morning! Hey Y'all, I'm one! Wow, a year ago, I had the most massive cone-head there ever was. (Glad that went away.) It's been an amazing 365 days of exploration, relationship-building, growing, eating, playing, and living. I want to thank all of you for following my adventures and for supporting me an my parents along the way. Of all I have learned so far, the most important things seems to be that family and friends make the highs even higher and the lows non-existant.

Dad's back!

Dad went to Colorado to hike some peaks with his buddies. Mom and I camped out out the house for the weekend where I got pretty sick, even got an ear infection or two (literally, two). But now dad's back! And the laughter and fun have returned to the house.
