Well, hello! This is a page devoted to me, Miles, the wee-est of we Feezell's. This is a place for all the ogling grandparents, friends and family to check-in and see what I have been up to as I grow, develop, and burn through diapers at a fierce pace. Mostly it's a place for my mom and dad to post pictures for those uninitiated in the world of Facebook (and those who are perhaps better off for it). So, bookmark this page and check in often.

Happy New Year!
It has been a tremendous year filled with many blessings, good times, and a few challenges as well. I am looking forward to the new year so that I can work on becoming a bigger human and all that entails. I am excited to start my new school and to meet some new friends. My new years resolutions are as follows:
1) Learn to play Linus and Lucy on the piano.
2) Use a cup, a real cup.
3) Stop pooping in my pants, aim for potty.
Please enjoy this video with just a few of the special moments that 2011 held for us.

Merry! Merry!
Last weekend we celebrated Christmas about four times. The Timpany's came to town, then with friends, then with the Piper's. I had a fantastic time with lots of family and friends and of course, my new BFFs: Grover, Big Bird, Elmo, and Cookie Monster. On Christmas Day, we went for a walk along the Elwood Bluffs and saw the Monarch Butterflies that migrate to Goleta every year. I also really enjoyed being home with mom and dad who indulged me by playing lots of "tunnel" and pushing me around in my new Radio Flyer wagon. I hope that your holiday season was just as much fun as mine has been and I hope you enjoy a healthy and happy new year.

The Gauntlet was Thrown
Hi, this is Jessica, Miles's mom. I have hacked into Miles's blog to tell you a quick story about his new Christmas stocking. I was decorating the home a couple weeks back, pulling out all of our holiday decorations, when I noticed that we really didn't have stockings for myself or Miles. Danny has an amazing stocking that his late grandmother made for him. It's red felt with an embroidered Santa, beads, and lots of love. It's an exemplary stocking. So I hopped onto Etsy.com one night and tried to buy Miles and myself a couple new, cute stockings when Danny glared at me with a judging look and pronounced: "You can't buy a stocking!" And thus the gauntlet was thrown. I had to make them. And I had to make them well enough to hang on the mantle next to Danny's grandma-made-old-school-home-ec-class-taking-fabulous stocking.
So I took myself, and an unruly toddler, to Craft Essentials. We walked to the back of the store where all the fabric lives, along with a gaggle of old ladies who know their stuff, and I threw Danny's stocking down on the fabric-cutting table and said: "I need to make one of these." Everyone took a step back and sucked in their breath while sizing me up. I'm pretty sure I had poop and cracker crumbs on me somewhere, so the gaggle took pity and guided my shopping. I left with a bunch of supplies and a polite request to leave the toddler at home the next time I visited as he left a wake of destruction and strewn beads in his path.
So, here it is. Miles's stocking. Not bought, but made with love. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!

November 2011
Well, we got all dressed up and ready to go have my photo taken with Santa, THE SANTA, but the line was INSANE and I didn't feel like hanging out with all of those other babies. I didn't feel like sitting in my stroller either. And since my mom didn't feel like losing me in a mass of people, we went home. But we were not going to let this fabulous outfit go to waste, no no no. Check out my new REI vest, yo! We got an REI a couple weeks ago and I am pretty sure this is one of the best things that has ever happened to my dad. Ever. Except marrying my mom, of course. And having me, that's tops.
And just to blow your mind a little, here is me one short year ago.

A Visit to the Sea Center
On this lazy Sunday, we all finally made it out of our jammies and down to the Ty Warner Sea Center here in SB. I had so much fun learning about underwater life. These guys REALLY like baths. I got to pet a shark! I also loved walking through the underwater tunnel. I particularly enjoyed the puppet-show area where I decided against using the fish and sea life puppets and focused on my one-man show. Ta-daaa!

Sorry I have been away!
Sorry I have been a little out of touch lately. Things are really busy around here. I fell at Daycare (aka "deathcare") again and mom and dad are pretty irritated. So they have been looking for a new school for me to go to, and it sounds like they may have found the right one! So that change is coming up in December probably. I am working on getting all four of my molars in, which hurts BAD. I haven't been my charming little self lately. I like to protest my highchair, throw food, and yell at mom and dad. On the good side however, I have a new friend named "Six" he is a big, fuzzy bear and I love him and I enjoy looking all over the house to find him. Here is a little fuzzy video of me and Dad. Mom apologizes for the low photo quality but she is too busy to redo it. I think you'll like it anyway. Cheers! Miles
